Our Business
Letter to Parents: Thank you for contacting us at Lewis County Driving School. We seek to provide quality traffic safety education and flexible scheduling to meet your student's needs. According to the DOL we have the highest pass rate for the written and in-car tests at the DOL for any public or commercial school in Lewis County!
Successful completion of this course is a required prerequisite to obtain a Washington State driver's license prior to age 18. A waiver for an instruction permit is available for your student at age 15 when he/she is fully paid and enrolled in this approved Traffic Safety Education course.
Lewis County Driving School encourages you, the parent, to drive with your student a minimum of 26 hours at home to improve their driving skills as they are taught in class. Improved skills will help your student become a safer driver on the road.
As always, the parent or guardian is the final judge of when a young person is ready for their driver's license test. We provide the behind the wheel and classroom instruction. The third and most important element, judgment, is a factor that only a parent can fully evaluate.
Please feel free to call. We are always happy to answer your questions. (360)

General Information
The classroom instruction schedule will be either on Tuesday / Thursday or Monday / Wednesday during the school year and on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the summer in the AM, or in the PM or a combination of those days and times will be scheduled, depending upon the needs of the whole class. Attendance is required every class day.
Drive times are arranged to be convenient for students when the instructor is available during non-class time. The students are scheduled in pairs for in-car instruction.
The course fee of $350.00 covers the required 30 hours of classroom instruction and the six hours of in-car instruction and observation. Due to the nature of the course no refunds are given after the first lesson. Please avoid the following additional fees: returned check fee, missed drive fee, missed or make-up class fee, and lost or damaged book fee. All fees must be satisfied before the driver's ed. certificate can be issued. Please keep the certificate in a safe place to avoid a lost certificate fee.
Adult lessons are available at $45 per hour. The number of hours of instruction varies directly with the students ability to master skills and maneuvers necessary to pass the state licensing on-road test.
